Dr Mercado
Dr Claudia G Mercado received her medical degree in May 2008 from the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford. She completed her family medicine residency in July 2011 at Loyola University Maywood IL. She has been in private practice with Border Clinic since October of 2011 and has been board certified since 2012. She is an active member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, and the National Hispanic Medical Association. She is a mentor for Hispanic students with NHMA. She is also a provider for EHE international in South Texas. EHE international has its corporate office in New York City and it is a leading company providing executive physicals. Dr Mercado has a special interest in minority health and underserved medicine. We are proud to have a completely bilingual clinic and offer culturally competent care.
Dr Mercado specializes in Family Medicine and provides services for every member of the family. Should the need arise, Dr Mercado can make referrals for specialty care.
